There are many ways to support the campaign for equal representation in Australian public monuments. Every contribution of time, voice, or funds brings us closer
Donate
Australia's public spaces tell a story, and right now that story is missing half of us. AMOO is working to change that.
Your donation will directly support our current campaign to install a statue of Catherine Helen Spence on Constitution Avenue in Canberra, to be placed diagonally opposite the existing statue of Andrew Inglis Clark.
Among her many important contributions, Catherine was the first woman to run for a federal political position and was a candidate to draft the Australian Constitution in the 1890s.

Our goal is to see Catherine stand in conversation with Clark, claim her place in the story of Federation, and open a dialogue that recognises the importance of women’s ongoing contributions to Australian democracy.
Every gift brings us closer to seeing her rightfully take her place in our nation's capital.
Beyond this campaign, your generosity helps fund the research, advocacy, and community work that keeps the broader movement for statue equality alive across Australia.
Donations to AMOO are made through our valued partner, the National Foundation for Australian Women (NFAW), and are fully tax deductible.
The NFAW accepts donations on our behalf, ensuring your generosity goes directly toward advancing statue equality in Australia.
Please note: when donating, select AMOO as your nominated project so your gift supports our work.
Nominate Someone
Who would you like to see honoured with a monument of her own? We want to hear about them! Nominations help us build a comprehensive picture of who Australians believe should be commemorated.
